The Center

THE LOTUS CENTER is located in the village of Prek Kat, near the village of Ta Khmau, a small town located 15 kilometers from Phnom - Penh.

It is located in the countryside, scented by jasmine, among banana and mango trees in front of a river.

A place to practice, relax, regenerate ...

The Lotus Centre is also a space for  groups for martial arts courses, yoga, meditation, massage, or other affinity disipline.

The Facilities

Set in extensive grounds, it is composed of several buildings, traditional wooden structures on stilts:

- The LOTUS Center itself,
- The House of friends,
- House of teachers and professors.

Added to:

- A small concrete house, which serves as a school and workshop,
- The meditation hall,
- Two pools, one with wild lotus flowers, the other built like tanks Angkorian ..

Location

It is located in the village of Prek Kat, near the village of Ta Khmau, a small town 15 km south of Phnom Penh, capital of Cambodia.

It is also a space for hosting groups for martial arts courses, yoga, meditation, massage or other affinity disciplines. It can also be a place of retreat.

How it Works

The Centre is managed by a bilingual team consists of the older practitioners, and the housekeeper, someone from the village invested since the inception of the project.
Accommodation is provided by sleeping under a mosquito net and Cambodian futon in large common rooms.
Rest areas are equipped with bamboo beds, wooden chairs and hammocks.
Meals are prepared by the ladies of the village.
Personal travel can be made by tuk tuk. The group trips are made by bus.
Bilingual guides can accompany interns or residents if they wish.

The operation of the LOTUS Center is nonprofit. All profits are automatically reinvested in the Association LOTUS FLOWER LIGHT that supports the education and training of a group of teenagers from the village of Prek Kat and the Centre.
